Stay & Train

Families have the option of having their puppy stay longer with us to be included in our stay and train program.
Your pup will then be more extensively trained during this vital window of development this includes.

  • Crate training

  • Toilet training

  • Loose Lead training (dependent on age)

  • Recall training (coming to name)

  • Car travel training

  • Comprehensive socialisation including a variety of people, different animals horses, cats, etc.

  • A regular rountine is established which makes handover to a new home easier.

Keep in mind our ‘stay and train’ program is about building a solid foundation for your pup but is still progressive, so you will need to understand and continue the training after your pup comes home.
Which is why we also offer ongoing support via phone or email.

All included @ $350 per week for up to an extra 4 weeks.

We do offer week by week if required but conditions will vary. If you choose to do 2 weeks stay and train we offer a return week when pup is older for the same rates.

Important-

Due to the ongoing successful results being experienced through our ‘Stay&Train’ Puppy Program

B’s Bordoodles are now proud to offer our ‘stay & train’ puppy program to families who may have purchased a puppy from another breeder but still want to take advantage of our beneficial foundation training for their puppy.

We accept puppies from 8 weeks old, we prefer they come straight from the breeder to our home and we offer up to 4 weeks extra training depending on your situation and your needs- this is highly recommended for those planning on training their pup for therapy or service work in the future.

Those important early few weeks of your puppies life are a vital key in setting them up ready for this kind of future and should not be wasted, but it does take a lot of dedicated time and effort to socialise and train young puppies correctly.

Some families just dont have that time or they lack confidence to do it themselves, we understand this and we don’t want any puppies to miss out, which is why we are now offering this service for approved puppies outside of our own breeding program.

@ $385 per week, a very worthwhile investment.


Did you know that the lines we use for our breeding program are from proven assistance and service dog suitable temperaments and if you are looking to own an emotional support dog or train your own assistance dog we can match you up with the right pup.

FAQs

  • At either 10 or 12 weeks old your socialized puppy is at a perfect age to integrate with a ‘new pack’ so to speak. Your bonding with your pup won’t be affected, it will actually be easier for you to communicate and relate to a trained pup with more understanding.

  • It’s entirely up to you if you decide to enroll your pup or not and often your own experience level with young puppies and dog training in general will be the deciding factor. Of course it’s a real advantage to have your pup in the program but as the majority of families have experienced B’s Bordoodle pups are already so easy to toilet train and train in general due to the way we raise them, that they are far ahead of the majority of pups in a lesser standard breeding program already by 8 weeks. So we are more than happy to sell you a pup at 8 weeks old and you will always have the support of the B’s Bordoodle family regardless.

  • We will occasionally offer an already trained young dog for sale- If you would like to apply for a young adult bordoodle that is already trained you are welcome to contact us for more information.

  • If you are interested in our guardian program which involves becoming a foster family for one of our specially selected breeding dogs please contact us to learn more.

Boarding Back

We are always happy to have any of our own home bred Bordoodles come back to us for boarding when their families are away. 

If the dates and timing are workable (sometimes we might not be available of course, as we may have whelping duties or very young pups to look after or a full book of ‘stay and train’) so advance notice is needed please.

We charge $55 per day for boarding and your dog is cared for and looked after and loved in our own home with regular exercise and 24/7 care -

Board & Train 

We also offer the option of $85 per day for ‘board and train’ which means while your Bordoodle is with us they enter our obedience training program tailored around your specific individual requirements.

This is a great option for a refresher if your pup was originally in our ‘stay & train’ program.
